Salma Hayek becomes a grandmother following birth of first grandson

Actress Salma Hayek has become a grandmother for the first time following the birth of her stepgrandson, François. The child is the son of her stepson, François Pinault Jr., and Countess Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.

Lara Cosima shared several family photographs on Instagram to mark the baby’s first month, which also appeared to confirm that she and François Pinault Jr. have secretly married. In her post, she referred to him as her “husband” and celebrated their first month as parents.

The newborn, named François in keeping with a long-standing family tradition, marks a new generation for the Pinault dynasty. François Pinault Jr. is the eldest son of François-Henri Pinault, the former CEO of the luxury group Kering, and Salma Hayek has maintained a close relationship with her husband’s children from previous relationships.
