French singer François Valéry recently shared the story behind his song ‘C’est pas possible,’ which was inspired by the late American superstar Tina Turner. During an appearance on the radio program Nostalgie Génération 80, Valéry explained that the track tells the story of a singer resembling Turner.

To avoid potential legal issues raised by his publisher regarding the song's resemblance to the international star, Valéry reached out to Turner directly. He received a warm response in English, which he later had translated. Valéry described the letter as a touching tribute, noting that Turner expressed deep emotion and thanked him for the homage.
