Franz Wagner suffers shoulder injury before NBA season start

Franz Wagner, a key player for the Orlando Magic, sustained a right shoulder injury during a preseason game against the Miami Heat. The 25-year-old was forced to leave the court after 19 minutes of play in the Magic's 136-115 victory.

Head coach Sean Sweeney stated that medical examinations would be conducted shortly to determine the severity of the injury. The timing is critical for Orlando, as the new NBA season is scheduled to begin next week with a home game against the Atlanta Hawks.

In the same game, German national player Tristan da Silva contributed 12 points and four rebounds. Additionally, Franz Wagner noted the personal change of playing without his brother, Moritz Wagner, who moved to the Brooklyn Nets this summer.
