Franziska van Almsick launches new radio talk show

Former world-class swimmer Franziska van Almsick is transitioning into a new role as a radio moderator for the Baden-Württemberg private station Radio Regenbogen. Her new two-hour weekly program, titled ‘Einfach Franzi’, will air on Sunday mornings.

Van Almsick aims to present her prominent guests in a different light, focusing on personal aspects rather than just professional triumphs or failures. Her inaugural guest is tennis legend Boris Becker. The discussion is expected to cover topics such as his daily life and his connection to his home region, despite currently living in Milan. Other scheduled guests for the series include actor Heiner Lauterbach and comedian Mario Barth.
