Franziska van Almsick shares personal red flags

Former professional swimmer Franziska van Almsick has shared her personal “red flags” and “green flags” via Instagram ahead of her upcoming radio show on Radio Regenbogen.

Van Almsick identified several behaviors as red flags, including clapping when an airplane lands, watching the final episode of a multi-part series first, and setting multiple alarms without waking up. She described herself as a “punctuality fanatic,” labeling unpunctuality as an absolute red flag.

Conversely, she noted several green flags, such as having many unread messages—a trait she admitted to sharing—and listening to voice messages at double speed to save time. Regarding people who talk to their pets as if they were humans, she expressed mixed feelings, noting that she sometimes does the same with her own dog.
