FRAPA Festival announces programming for 14th edition
The 14th edition of FRAPA (Audiovisual Screenwriting Festival) will take place in Porto Alegre, Brazil, from November 2 to 6. The festival, a pioneer in Latin America, focuses on the craft of screenwriting and will feature over 50 activities, including masterclasses, workshops, and business rounds.
Notable programming includes an opening session featuring Cauã Reymond, creator and star of the Globoplay series ‘Jogada de Risco’, alongside screenwriter Lucas Paraizo. The film ‘London’, directed by Victor Di Marco and Márcio Picoli, will serve as the inaugural feature. ‘London’ recently received the Queer Lion award at the 83rd Venice Film Festival and was also showcased at the Queer Lisboa festival in Portugal.
In addition to professional development activities, the festival offers free cinema screenings, including a competitive showcase of 11 short films and a selection of five national feature films.
