Frascati: Large tree branch falls in crowded Passeggiata area
A large tree branch fell unexpectedly along the Passeggiata in Frascati on Thursday evening, August 20. The incident occurred in a highly frequented area shortly after dinner time while many citizens were present.
No injuries or property damage were reported. The Frascati Firefighters (Vigili del Fuoco) responded quickly to cut and remove the heavy branch, while local police managed security during the operation. The fall did not occur during a storm, as weather conditions in the Castelli Romani area were stable at the time, though a yellow alert for thunderstorms is expected in the Lazio region for Friday, August 21. Investigations may be conducted to determine the cause of the branch detachment.
