Fraser to join yacht charter panel at African Boating Conference

Yacht brokerage firm Fraser will participate in the African Boating Conference, scheduled for 20–21 October 2026 at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Lisa Airasca, Fraser’s Head of Charter Management Europe, will join a panel to discuss the future of yacht chartering in Africa and the steps needed to establish the continent as a competitive global cruising destination.

The conference aims to bring together international industry leaders, marina developers, government representatives, and marine tourism stakeholders to explore opportunities within Africa’s growing blue economy. The panel discussion will address practical challenges such as marina infrastructure, cruising regulations, customs procedures, security perceptions, crew logistics, and destination marketing. Participants will also examine how Africa can utilize its natural beauty, wildlife, and diverse cultures to create unique charter experiences and attract more yachts to its waters.
