Frasers Group to abolish use of exotic skins

British retail giant Frasers Group has announced it will abolish the use of exotic skins across its stores, platforms, and brands. The company stated its commitment to a future without exotic animal skins, aiming to lead efforts to end the use of wild animal skins in the fashion industry.

Frasers Group will ensure its own-brand products are free of exotic skins and will notify third-party brands that the group will no longer purchase products containing them. The move follows similar decisions by luxury brands such as Chanel, Balenciaga, and Burberry. PETA has praised the retailer for demonstrating corporate leadership in responding to consumer demand for cruelty-free fashion.
