Fratelli d’Italia calls for zero tolerance regarding urban violence
The Fratelli d’Italia party has called for a strict stance against individuals committing acts of violence in Italian cities. Senator Raoul Russo, head of the party's group in the Antimafia Commission, rejected arguments attributing such violence to youth social distress, criticizing political opponents for attempting to justify criminal behavior.
Party officials described recent incidents in major city squares as particularly grave, linking the phenomenon to uncontrolled immigration policies and a lack of integration strategies. Russo emphasized that those responsible for damaging property, attacking law enforcement, or terrorizing citizens should face identification and legal punishment rather than ideological consideration.
