Fratelli d'Italia councilors press Italian municipalities for maintenance and clean‑up

In Sestri Levante, opposition councilor Marco Conti of Fratelli d'Italia criticised the civic‑transversal administration for providing only slogans while citizens await concrete actions on bridge repairs, parking, road improvements and major projects such as the expansion of Fincantieri and Arinox. He highlighted delays in playground replacement and the slow progress on a new structure to replace the burned‑down Bagnun association building.

In Vasto Marina, Fratelli d'Italia municipal councillors Francesco Prospero, Vincenzo Suriani and Guido Giangiacomo submitted an oral interrogation demanding urgent intervention to clean and maintain the free‑beach and event area. They described the site as littered with waste, damaged structures, graffiti‑covered walls and nightly bivouacs, arguing that the lack of upkeep harms the town’s tourist image and that the space lacks sufficient parking and facilities for events.
