Fratelli d'Italia demands airport amendment review and municipal inquiries in Italy

Deputy Dario Iaia of Fratelli d'Italia rejected the Five Star Movement's claim that a parliamentary vote rejected the Grottaglie "Marcello Arlotta" airport project. Iaia explained that the negative vote targeted only the amendment proposed by the M5S, which he said was flawed on political, technical and procedural grounds and did not comply with EU public service rules. He called for the regional airport study to be published and urged greater transparency on the airport’s future.
