Fratelli d’Italia holds agricultural summit in Cosenza

The Fratelli d’Italia parliamentary group held an initiative titled ‘Coltiviamo l’Italia – Per garantire la sovranità alimentare’ (Let’s Cultivate Italy – To Guarantee Food Sovereignty) in Cosenza on October 17. The event, held at the Palazzo della Provincia, aimed to foster dialogue between political representatives and agricultural associations to address rising production costs and economic challenges facing the sector.

During the meeting, Deputy Aldo Mattia detailed the agricultural policies implemented by the Meloni Government and Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry Francesco Lollobrigida. The discussions focused on supporting businesses and enhancing the value of the Italian agri-food industry. The event saw participation from various agricultural organizations, including Coldiretti Cosenza, Confagricola Cosenza, and Confcooperative Calabria, alongside several regional and national political figures.
