Fratelli d'Italia recovers in polls as Partito Democratico hits two-year low

Recent political polling in Italy shows a shifting landscape among major parties. Fratelli d'Italia, led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, has demonstrated a recovery, returning to levels seen in July with support ranging between 27% and 28.2% across various institutes.

In contrast, the Partito Democratico (PD) has experienced a decline, with several polls reporting its support at its lowest point in two years, hovering around 20%. The Movimento 5 Stelle has shown mixed results, with some data indicating stability near 13% and others showing slight fluctuations.

Within the center-right coalition, Roberto Vannacci’s Futuro Nazionale party has seen its period of rapid growth slow down, with recent polls indicating its first signs of stagnation or slight decline, settling between 7% and 8.8%. Meanwhile, Lega has hit new lows in some surveys, dipping toward 5%. Forza Italia remains relatively stable around 7%.

On the opposition side, the 'campo largo' coalition maintains a competitive position. Depending on the specific poll and methodology, the combined strength of the opposition parties fluctuates around 40% to 43%, often remaining in close proximity to the center-right coalition's total.
