Fratelli Rosselli legacy honored through cultural events in Italy

The Fratelli Rosselli cultural and political legacy is being highlighted through several commemorative events in Italy. In San Giovanni Valdarno, the Coop Centro Fratelli Rosselli is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The festivities include the presentation of the book ‘Un amore socialista’ by Pierfrancesco De Robertis, which explores the lives of Anna Kuliscioff and Filippo Turati, as well as their connections to Giacomo Matteotti and the history of Italian socialism.

In Rome, the Fondazione Circolo Fratelli Rosselli presented an inventory covering the years 1971–2021. Valdo Spini, President of the Foundation, discussed the historical importance of the Rosselli brothers, noting their transition from establishing a cultural circle to political engagement following the assassination of Matteotti. The foundation's history is linked to the post-WWII reconstruction of cultural circles in Florence and a long-standing commitment to publishing a journal to maintain democratic and reformist dialogue.
