Frazione Calcistica Dal Pozzo featured in Italian popular football almanac

The Frazione Calcistica Dal Pozzo, a football club from Ceriano Laghetto, has been featured in ‘Popolarissimo. Almanacco del calcio popolare in Italia’, a new volume edited by Filippo Fenech and published by Cronache Ribelli.

Founded in May 2015 by the ‘Masnada Ultras’, the club operates on a self-managed model funded by athlete and supporter contributions. Despite early challenges, including the loss of their home field and 17 Daspo orders, the club achieved significant milestones, such as reaching the 2019 Coppa Lombardia final and winning the Terza Categoria championship in the 2022/23 season.

The project has expanded to include a community gym and a 7-a-side team. Currently competing in the Seconda Categoria for the third consecutive year, the club aims to establish its own sports center and launch a youth sector.
