Frechdachs association receives ‘Gesunder Verein’ award
The Frechdachs association in Arnoldstein has been honored with the ‘Gesunder Verein’ (Healthy Association) award. The recognition was presented by Carinthian Health Councilor Beate Prettner.
Led by Susanne Moritz, the association has implemented a diverse range of health promotion and prevention programs over the last three years. These initiatives target various age groups and include people with disabilities. The program features activities such as herb workshops, mindfulness sessions, sound journeys, Shiatsu, and animal-assisted offerings involving therapy dogs and donkeys. Other activities include forest days, health lectures, and monthly herb afternoons for children.
The ‘Gesunder Verein’ initiative in Carinthia aims to help associations sustainably integrate health promotion into their activities through workshops, courses, and lectures to motivate people toward better well-being.
