Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza to open in New Jersey in 2027

A real-life version of the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant from the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ franchise is scheduled to open in 2027 at the American Dream entertainment and retail center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Developed in partnership with ScottGames, the venue is designed to be a fully operational quick-service restaurant rather than a mere movie set. The attraction will feature immersive elements including arcade games and two full-scale animatronic stage performances. Guests will be able to watch live sets from Freddy and the Fazbear Band, as well as performances from Foxy the Pirate in Pirate Cove.

Project leaders emphasized that authenticity is a primary goal for the project. The expansion follows the massive commercial success of the horror franchise, which has grown from an indie video game into a global multimedia brand including novels and high-grossing films.
