Fredi Bobić discusses professional differences with Legia coach Marek Papszun

Legia Warszawa sports director Fredi Bobić has addressed his professional relationship with head coach Marek Papszun, noting that while there is no personal conflict, he is not a fan of Papszun’s playing style or his tendency to speak publicly on sensitive matters.

Bobić emphasized that his support for Papszun as the right coach for the club is based on what benefits Legia rather than personal preference. He noted that in his role, he must prioritize the club’s interests over his own ego. Bobić also touched upon squad construction, suggesting that while Papszun values players like Augustyniak and Kapustka, the club must focus on preparing younger players to ensure long-term stability.

Despite these differences in philosophy, Bobić acknowledged the positive progress seen in certain players under Papszun’s leadership and the team’s current standing at the top of the Ekstraklasa.
