Free Art Exhibitions Draw Visitors to São Paulo and Salvador

The plastic artist Carlos Tarocco’s exhibition “Planeta Permitido” is on display at the ADDA Gallery inside Shopping Santa Úrsula in São Paulo. The show, curated by Leila Costa Quaglio, interprets nature through colour and form and is open to the public for free until 30 August.

In Salvador, the exhibition “Paisagens em Travessia” runs at CAIXA Cultural until 16 August. Curated by Daniel Barretto and Daniela Matera, it brings together more than 40 works by artists such as Cândido Portinari, Adriana Varejão, and Siron Franco, exploring themes of environmental change, collective memory, and climate justice. Since its opening on 28 May, the show has attracted roughly 2 500 visitors. Both exhibitions are free and aim to make contemporary art accessible to a broad audience.
