Free Eye Care Campaign Launched in Aracaju, Brazil

Ferreira Costa in Aracaju partnered with the non‑profit Associação Visão Para Todos to offer free ophthalmological services to the local community. The mobile unit operated on 22‑23 July, providing comprehensive eye examinations, consultations and guidance on visual health to residents who presented ID, CPF and proof of address. Around 20 diagnostic tests were available to detect early ocular changes, aiming to prevent blindness and refer patients for further treatment when needed.

The initiative targets low‑income populations, emphasizing inclusion and preventive care. Ferreira Costa highlighted its broader commitment to community welfare beyond its retail business, stating the goal of improving quality of life through accessible health services.
