Free launches discounted YouTube Premium subscription in France

Free has become the first French telecom operator to offer YouTube Premium at a reduced price of €9.99 per month, down from the standard €12.99. The promotion includes a free first month for eligible new YouTube Premium members, subject to conditions such as prior cancellation of a YouTube subscription at least six months earlier. The offer is available to both Freebox and Free Mobile subscribers and can be activated directly through the Free subscriber portal, with the cost added to the monthly phone or internet bill. The discounted rate and free‑month promotion are valid until 30 September 2026.

The service provides ad‑free video playback, background play, offline downloads, and access to YouTube Music Premium across compatible devices, aiming to enhance streaming experiences for travelers and commuters.
