Free offers Wi-Fi 7 capabilities with Freebox Pop plans

Free is positioning its Freebox Pop and Pop S offers as highly competitive in the French internet market by including Wi-Fi 7 technology and a Wi-Fi 7 repeater upon request. The Pop S plan is available for €24.99 per month without a commitment. This inclusion contrasts with competitors like Bouygues Telecom, which reserves its Wi-Fi 7 repeaters for its premium Bbox Ultym plan, and Orange, which associates its most generous equipment with its most expensive Livebox Max offers.

Beyond connectivity, the Freebox Pop provides high-speed fiber with download speeds up to 5 Gb/s. The service includes access to over 300 TV channels via the Free TV+ application and the Free 4K TV Player, which supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Additionally, the subscription offers trial periods for various streaming services, including CANAL+ Chaîne, HBO Max Basic, Amazon Prime, and Paramount+, before transitioning to paid monthly subscriptions.
