Free Patriotic Movement holds organizational retreat in Rabweh

The Free Patriotic Movement held an organizational retreat for its districts at the ‘Liqa’ center in Rabweh. The meeting focused on evaluating previous organizational work, discussing future action plans, and enhancing coordination between regional districts and the party’s central committees.

During the session, Ghassan El Khoury, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, emphasized the importance of the party’s presence in approximately 800 towns and noted the responsibility the movement holds toward supporters of Michel Aoun. El Khoury stressed that organizational work must be a continuous process rather than a reaction to specific election cycles. He specifically highlighted that the party should not treat parliamentary elections as a deferred event scheduled for 2028, but should instead maintain a structure ready for any upcoming political developments.

Other speakers included Jalbiere Salameh, coordinator of the district follow-up committee, who presented the current status of regional work and upcoming coordination mechanisms, and Secretary Jihad Salameh, who discussed the roles of district secretaries in ensuring internal regularity and communication with central bodies.
