Free Photography and Audiovisual Courses Launched in Brazil

A free audiovisual course for women, "Memórias em Movimento," has opened for registration in São José. The program runs from 5 August to 25 November 2026 at the Casa da Cultura, with weekly Wednesday sessions led by photographer and producer Ângela Reck. It aims to teach photography and cinema techniques and to foster female storytelling, culminating in a public exhibition.

Separately, a free product‑photography workshop will be held on 20 August in Mogi Mirim at the Centro Cultural Professor Lauro Monteiro de Carvalho e Silva. Instructor Igor Cardoso Tomaz will guide participants in creating professional‑looking images using low‑cost equipment. The session is open to anyone aged 12 or older, with 20 spots available.

Both initiatives are supported by local cultural authorities and seek to broaden access to visual‑media skills in their respective communities.
