Free sports programs launched in São Gonçalo and Niterói

Municipalities in the Rio de Janeiro region are offering free sports initiatives to promote health and social inclusion. In São Gonçalo, the Parque RJ Nosso Sonho provides free footvolley classes for individuals over 10 years old. The sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the park's sand court.

In Niterói, the Transpetro Table Tennis – Inclusion and Development project offers 120 free spots for children and adolescents aged 6 to 17. Managed by the FASPAR Foundation with sponsorship from Transpetro and support from the Niterói City Hall, the program operates at the Espaço Nova Geração. Beyond technical training, the initiative incorporates socio-educational activities to foster citizenship and personal development.
