Free Summer Events Across Puerto Rico in August 2026

Puerto Rico will host a series of free cultural and recreational activities throughout August 2026. Highlights include a community Pilates class on August 1 at Parque Dr. José Celso Barbosa in San Juan, the second edition of the Ponce Cuna de la Salsa Fest from July 31 to August 2 at La Guancha, and a watercolor landscape workshop with a picnic at the historic El Morro museum on the same day.

Additional free events feature the Herencia del Tambor celebration in Old San Juan, a Carnival in Culebra’s Centro de Bellas Artes, and numerous patron saint festivals across the island, offering live music, artisan markets, and traditional dance performances.
