Free Summer Festivals Bring Music, Sports and Community Activities to Portuguese Towns

The municipality of Mora will host the To Mora Land festival at the Parque Ecológico do Gameiro from 31 July to 2 August 2026. The three‑day, free‑entry event includes concerts, DJ sets, a sunset party, a foam party, a beach‑soccer tournament and on‑site camping, aimed mainly at young people.

In Funchal, the “Parque Ativo by DNA 2026” opened today in the Jardim Almirante Reis and will run until Saturday. Organized by the city council, the free programme offers a wide range of recreation and sport activities for all ages, including inflatables, trampolines, traditional games, badminton, table tennis, fencing, functional‑training stations and face‑painting, encouraging community participation and healthy lifestyles.
