Free summer music festivals light up Salou and Arcade in Spain

The ninth edition of the Festival Internacional de Música Costa Daurada will run in Salou from 12 July to 2 August, offering five free chamber‑music concerts at venues such as Torre Vella, the Espigó del Moll and the Plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes. Performances include a magical flute show, violin virtuosi, a Catalan chamber orchestra and a finale that spans Mozart to contemporary composers.

In the nearby town of Arcade, a free open‑air festival is set for Friday evening at the port promenade, beginning at 20:30. The line‑up is headed by Italian ska‑punk band Talco, with supporting acts De Ninghures, 9Louro and Duendeneta. The mayor encourages locals and visitors to enjoy the inter‑generational event, which promotes inclusion, sustainability and cultural vibrancy.
