Free to remove M6 4K and Epicurieux avec Jamy from Freebox

Free has announced that two television channels will be removed from its Freebox service offerings on October 13, 2026.

The first removal involves M6 4K, the ultra-high-definition channel providing a selection of M6 programming. While the M6 4K channel will disappear, the standard version of M6 will remain available to subscribers. This change specifically affects users with 4K televisions who utilize the UHD channel for higher image quality.

The second removal is more comprehensive, as the science and discovery channel ‘Epicurieux avec Jamy’ will leave the Free bouquet entirely. Free has not yet announced a direct replacement for the channel or a new 4K channel to occupy the space left by M6 4K.
