Free updates mVPN service with new protection levels and locations

Free has announced a significant update to its mVPN service, a virtual private network integrated directly into its mobile network. The update introduces three distinct levels of protection:

'Standard' provides an encrypted connection without site filtering. 'Essentiel' adds blocking for malicious or fraudulent websites. 'Renforcé' includes additional blocking for adult-oriented content, a feature intended to assist parents in managing access for children.

Users can now select from eight different server destinations to establish their connection, expanding from the previous two options of Italy and the Netherlands to include the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, the United States, Brazil, and Japan. Additionally, a new home screen widget for iOS and Android allows users to activate the service with a single click, removing the need to open the Free application.
