Free Will Astrology for September 23–29

Rob Brezsny’s Free Will Astrology for the period of September 23–29 offers guidance for various zodiac signs through metaphors of nature and sensory experiences.

Aries are encouraged to adopt the Japanese gardening practice of niwaki, collaborating with natural processes rather than imposing will. Taurus is advised to emulate the deliberate, steady pace of Galápagos giant tortoises to find strength in incremental progress. Gemini is prompted to view life’s pleasures through the metaphor of a perfumer’s three-layered fragrance, embracing both fleeting top notes and enduring base notes. Cancer is described as undergoing a vulnerable period of growth, similar to a crab molting its shell.
