Freestyle rap competitions scheduled in Uruguay and Peru

Several freestyle rap competitions are scheduled for September 12. In Florida, Uruguay, the Arena Style National Freestyle Championship will take place at the Prado Piedra Alta Skate Park. Organized by the Intendencia de Florida's Directorate of Culture, Tourism, and Youth with support from Red Bull, the event will feature 16 competitors from various departments, including Florida, Flores, Durazno, Canelones, San José, and Maldonado. The event is free to the public and will include musical performances and urban culture activities.

In Peru, the Red Bull Batalla Peru 2026/27 National Final will be held at Paradiso Lima in Chorrillos starting at 7:00 p.m. The competition follows a direct elimination format from the round of sixteen to the grand final. The winner will earn the right to represent Peru in the International Final, which is also set to be hosted in Peru. The lineup includes notable competitors such as Jota Shoy, Katacrist, and Nekroos.
