Freilandmuseum Oberpfalz to host traditional Kirchweihmarkt

The Freilandmuseum Oberpfalz in Neusath is hosting its traditional Kirchweihmarkt on October 18, starting at 11:00 AM. The event features approximately 40 stalls spread across the museum grounds and historical villages, offering handmade goods such as knitwear and autumn decorations.

Visitors can find various culinary offerings, including traditional baked goods from wood-fired ovens, specialty cheeses, smoked fish, and regional products from Czech suppliers like ceramics and cheesecake. The museum will also serve Zoigl beer and fresh apple juice.

For children, the program includes a carousel, creative activities like fabric printing and rattle making, and demonstrations such as sauerkraut pounding by museum farmers.
