Freilichtmuseum Roscheider Hof displays historical toy collection

The Freilichtmuseum Roscheider Hof has documented a collection of historical tin toys intended for a children's shop. The collection includes a variety of mechanical and plastic items.

Key pieces include a cream-colored steel beam scale with brass or patinated metal pans, featuring the inscription ‘Germany’ on the beam sides. Also included is a Geobra toy scale made of plastic, characterized by a red base, a cream-colored housing, and an asymmetrical design with a fan-shaped scale display.

The collection further features a beige-lacquered tin cash register equipped with three sliders for numerical input and a red lever to open the money drawer, alongside a red plastic weight strip designed to hold small weights.
