Fremantle Dockers announce coaching staff changes

The Fremantle Dockers have announced several changes to their coaching panel for the 2026 season. Former Richmond premiership defender Nathan Broad has joined the club as a backs development coach, marking the start of his coaching career following his retirement from playing.

Other key appointments include Tendai Mzungu, who has been promoted from backs development coach to backs assistant coach. Jade Rawlings will transition from her previous role to oversee the forward line, following Jaymie Graham’s departure to become the head coach at North Melbourne.

Additionally, Sam Mainwaring has been appointed as the midfield development coach. Geoff Valentine returns to lead the club’s WAFL affiliate, Peel Thunder, replacing Adam Read, who has moved to Greater Western Sydney.
