Fremantle forward Patrick Voss leads Dockers to revenge bid against Gold Coast

Patrick Voss, the 22‑year‑old forward for the Fremantle Dockers, has revived his season after a slow start, kicking 18.8 goals in his last five games. His resurgence, alongside fellow forwards Josh Treacy (34.21) and Jye Amiss (35.23), has helped Fremantle extend its club‑record winning streak to 13 matches.

Teammate Sam Switkowski praised Voss’s passion, physicality and ability to create turnovers, saying, "He's been incredible… I love walking out the field with him." The Dockers will host the Gold Coast Suns on Sunday, seeking revenge for last year’s one‑point elimination final loss, while Switkowski, whose contract ends later this season, confirmed he plans to stay with Fremantle.

The match is billed as a grudge game, with both sides aiming to prove their superiority in the AFL ladder‑leading encounter.
