Galileo PRS Eviden P3TS Thales French Army resilient navigation

Thales and Eviden announced the integration of Thales’ Galileo PRS capability into Eviden’s P3TS military satellite‑navigation receiver. The upgraded solution, called P3TS PRS, will be offered in two configurations: a TopStar Galileo PRS Core module that provides access to Galileo PRS, Galileo and GPS signals, and a GPS‑or TopStar Smart Receive module that adds advanced anti‑jamming functions.

The system is designed to improve resilience against electronic‑warfare threats such as jamming and spoofing, while preserving the integrity and security of positioning data. Both configurations incorporate a high‑precision clock to maintain synchronization of tactical radios even if GNSS signals are lost. Developed under a programme commissioned by France’s Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA), the solution also supports the SCORPION Combat Information System and contributes to European strategic autonomy by reducing dependence on GPS. Eviden, a subsidiary of the Atos Group, and Thales jointly aim to provide French Army land vehicles with reliable, real‑time situational awareness.
