French Army receives first EBRC Jaguar armored vehicles at R3 standard

KNDS France has begun delivering the first EBRC Jaguar armored vehicles at the R3 standard to the French Army. As of September 18, 2026, approximately 25 vehicles have been delivered or retrofitted to this specification. This delivery is a key milestone for the SCORPION programme, which aims to modernize and digitalize France’s land forces by replacing the aging AMX-10RC.

The Jaguar R3 is a 25-tonne, 6x6 wheeled vehicle featuring a digitized T40 turret. Its primary armament includes a high-rate-of-fire 40 mm CTA cannon and Akeron MP anti-tank missiles, capable of engaging targets at ranges up to 4,000 meters. The vehicle was developed by a consortium including KNDS France, Arquus, and Thales.

Beyond France, the Jaguar has been selected by Belgium and Luxembourg as part of the CaMo programme, and the manufacturer is currently pursuing several international export campaigns.
