French arts festivals spotlight disability inclusion and dance in 2026‑2027

The IMAGO Festival, marking its 10th anniversary, runs from 9 September to 27 December 2026 across Île‑de‑France and Nouvelle‑Aquitaine. The event highlights artists with disabilities who now lead their own artistic projects in theatre, dance, music, circus and cinema, and is backed by regional authorities and private sponsor Covéa Finance, though it notes the absence of support from the DRAC.

L'Artchipel’s Temps Fort Danse will take place from 11 to 20 March 2027 in Guadeloupe. The programme combines performances, conferences, workshops and meetings, featuring choreographers and artists such as Thomas Lebrun, Léna Blou and Dominique Lisette. It aims to raise the visibility of dance, linking professional creation with community transmission and offering audiences and practitioners a space to explore the art form.
