French basketball clubs conclude pre-season preparations

French basketball teams concluded their pre-season preparations with notable performances. Boulazac Basket Dordogne secured their first victory of the pre-season by defeating Cholet with a score of 97-89. Joshua Uduje led the scoring for Boulazac with 17 points, supported by a strong collective effort where eight players achieved high evaluation ratings. The team demonstrated improved defensive intensity and rebounding, preparing for their league campaign starting September 26 against Roanne.

In another matchup, Élan Béarnais narrowly missed a victory against Limoges CSP, losing 95-90. Despite a strong start from the interior duo of Mballa and Briggs, Limoges utilized effective three-point shooting and defensive pressure to take control. The match served as a rigorous test for the Pau-based team ahead of their upcoming season matches against Nanterre and Chalon.
