French biathletes qualify for Munich super sprint final

During the Loop One Festival biathlon competition in Munich, the super sprint qualifying rounds produced unexpected results. Océane Michelon, who had won the previous day, was eliminated from the competition after struggling with shooting accuracy.

In contrast, three French athletes—Julia Simon, Paula Botet, and Amandine Mengin—successfully qualified for the afternoon final. Botet secured a top position in the first series with perfect shooting, while Simon and Mengin followed closely in the final series.

Other notable competitors, including Elvira Öberg, also failed to advance to the final due to shooting errors. The final lineup includes athletes from Germany, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Slovakia, and Latvia.
