French cinema venues mark transitions in Nantes and Perche Rémalardais

The Cinématographe des Carmélites in Nantes is scheduled to close permanently this Sunday, September 13. The institution, known for its eclectic programming and support of local productions, will hold its final screenings to honor its cinematic heritage and the memories of its patrons.

In a separate development, the Ciné Club du Perche Rémalardais has announced the start of its 12th season. The inaugural event is set for Saturday, September 26, and will feature award-winning films from the Jeunesse Tout Courts festival. The evening aims to provide visibility to young directors and introduce film industry professions to the community.
