French clubs Marseille and Lyon linked to Serbian internationals

French football clubs Olympique de Marseille (OM) and Olympique Lyonnais (OL) are reportedly monitoring several Serbian international players as the summer transfer window nears its close.

Regarding Petar Ratkov, the agent for the 22-year-old Lazio striker has denied rumors of a move to Marseille. The agent stated there are no ongoing discussions between the player, the Italian club, and OM, calling the rumors “totally unfounded.”

Separately, both OM and OL are reportedly interested in Petar Stanic, a 24-year-old attacking midfielder currently playing for Ludogorets. Stanic, who has two caps for Serbia, is also being watched by FC Lorient. While no formal offers have been made, the interest from multiple Ligue 1 sides could intensify negotiations for the player, who is under contract with the Bulgarian champions until 2028.
