French Companies Adopt New CSR and Employee Benefit Models

Corporate solidarity sponsorship is gaining traction in France as a concrete CSR tool. Companies can support causes through donations, skill‑based volunteering, material aid or sponsorship, enhancing brand reputation, employee cohesion and, under French law, qualifying for tax reductions. The approach is presented as a measurable, sustainable way to align business performance with social impact.

At the same time, firms are turning to externalised works councils (CSE) to manage employee benefits. By outsourcing the administration of perks to specialised providers, even small and medium‑sized enterprises can offer a digital platform for services such as discounts, insurance and wellness programmes without maintaining an internal CSE structure. This model simplifies administration while expanding the range of benefits available to staff.
