French confectioners launch new seasonal product collections
French confectionery houses La Maison Cruzilles and François Doucet Confiseur are launching new product collections for the autumn season.
La Maison Cruzilles, based in Clermont-Ferrand, is introducing a 100% natural fruit candy range. The collection avoids concentrated fruit juices, additives, preservatives, and animal gelatin, utilizing natural aromas and colors instead. The brand has developed a specialized fruit gel to enhance flavor intensity while reducing the amount of puree required. The range includes soft-centered candies featuring protected geographical indication (IGP) flavors such as Corsican clementine, Burgundy blackcurrant, and Lorraine mirabelle.
François Doucet Confiseur, a family business from Oraison, is releasing a new collection focused on the combination of intense fruit pastes and high-quality chocolate. The brand is also celebrating its 50th anniversary with an exclusive collector's box, emphasizing its heritage of blending traditional confectionery with modern creative textures.
