France: Court of Auditors demands digital vaccination record by 2028
The French Court of Auditors (Cour des comptes) is calling for the immediate implementation of a mandatory digital vaccination record by 2028. The institution warns that the current lack of a centralized electronic system poses a significant risk to public health.
Amélie de Montchalin, president of the Court, stated that the absence of up-to-date electronic records constitutes ‘an obstacle major for our protection individuelle’. An evaluation of vaccination policies since 2018 indicates that the current degree of population protection remains unknown due to these data gaps.
