French culinary events feature elite chefs and charity initiatives

High-profile culinary events are scheduled to take place in France, featuring renowned chefs and charitable initiatives.

In Avignon, three-star chef Alexandre Mazzia will host the second edition of "La Nuit étoilée" at the Palais des Papes on September 7, 2026. This charity dinner brings together seven prominent chefs, including Glenn Viel, Mauro Colagreco, and Hélène Darroze. All proceeds will benefit the AM Académie, which promotes youth inclusion through sport and nutrition, and the Institut Paoli-Calmettes, a center dedicated to cancer research and treatment.

In Reims, the La Caserne Chanzy hotel is celebrating its centenary by hosting "La Table Éphémère" from September 18 to 20, 2026, as part of the Relais du Goût festival. Chef Julien Raphanel will prepare nightly menus in the hotel's fifth-floor panoramic suite, collaborating with a different guest chef each evening for a limited group of twelve guests.
