French employees face rising dissatisfaction and workplace distractions
A survey by the Flashs institute for Digitiz indicates a shift in employee attitudes toward the workplace in 2026. Approximately 36% of employees surveyed are considering leaving their current positions due to factors such as toxic environments, excessive workloads, a lack of professional prospects, or a loss of meaning in their work.
While 90% of employees believe making professional resolutions is useful for starting the year, many struggle to maintain them. The primary obstacles to achieving these goals include a lack of motivation (23%) and professional pressure (22%).
Additionally, research into modern office dynamics suggests a paradox in productivity. Despite legal working hours decreasing over the last five decades, new distractions such as constant notifications, meetings, and interruptions are impacting concentration levels in the workplace.
