French family cancels vacation to search for lost cat
A family from Versailles, France, cancelled their planned vacation to the Dévoluy mountains to search for their lost cat, Chanel. After the black cat escaped during a rest stop, the family spent a week and a half in L’Isle-d’Abeau, south of Lyon, to conduct the search.
The family, consisting of parents and two adult children, utilized social media and received assistance from local animal welfare organizations. They employed cameras and cage traps in an attempt to recapture the pet. The search efforts often took place between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
